Prerequisites: 9 months service as a yacht engineer with 3 months sea service whilst holding a Chief Engineer CoC (Y4), Successful exam and in receipt of NoE.

Duration: 5 days

Assessment: MCA Oral Exam 

Approvals: MCA

Note: A Chief Engineer holding a CoC (Y3) will not be required to take this module if going on to Chief Engineer Y2.
