The GMDSS General Operators Certificate (GOC) course is intensive and will require continued study during evenings.  It includes both theoretical and practical training using the latest simulator technology and GMDSS equipment.

The course covers three main areas:   Regulations and Procedures, Demonstration and Maintenance of Equipment, Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) and Practical Operations.

Acquire detailed practical knowledge of a GMDSS equipped ship's station.

Operational procedures and practices and the satisfactory exchange of communications.

Live demonstrations and practical application sessions.

Mock examination papers assist in preparation for finals.

Use of latest simulator technology.
